- Motor vehicles may be parked only in the parking space provided for that purpose at your unit. The parking of cars is not to exceed the driveway area associated with each unit. No vehicles may be driven off the paved area or on walkways. Maintenance other than washing, waxing, and minor hood items is prohibited.
- Parking of recreational vehicles (motor homes and pull campers) is allowed for a period not to exceed 7 days. Parking of boats is allowed under the unit. Commercial vehicles may be subject to this rule according to the size of the commercial vehicle. Under no circumstance will the commercial vehicle exceed the driveway area associated with the unit.
- Use of pool is prohibited between the hours of 10 PM and 6 AM. Owners/tenants are responsible for their guests’ behavior and actions
- No radio or TV antennas or any wiring for any purposes may be installed on the exterior of a building without the written consent of the owners’ association.
- The balconies shall be used only for the purposes intended, and shall not be used for hanging garments, towels, or other objects on the railings as they are damaging to the wood and paint.
- Owners and tenants are prohibited from making any alterations or repair of unit exterior boundary walls without the written consent of the owners association.
- The Board of directors must approve any physical changes to common area.
- Owners shall be permitted to keep pets and other animals within, and only within, their unit. Owners will be responsible for pest control costs which exceed the monthly treatment paid for by the owners’ association, to include the cost to eliminate pest caused by their pets on the common areas, or in nearby units. Pets must be on leashes while the pet is out of doors. Owners are responsible for immediate clean up after the pet, and will be expected to be prepared to do so any time the owner and pet are outside
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am daily. No owner or tenant may make or permit any disturbing noises in the building or on the common areas whether made by himself, his family, or friends, or permit any activity to be done by such persons that will interfere with the rights, comforts, or convenience of the other owners or tenants.
- Owners who rent/lease their apartments are responsible for providing both their Realtor and tenant with a copy of SANDCASTLE RULES. Owners are responsible for ensuring that Realtors notify the association manager in writing when their unit is rented/leased. Owners/Realtors will provide the association manager with a copy of all leases.
- The dock is for everyone’s use and enjoyment. Crab traps may be kept there as we have crabs from March through November. Please tend to your trap only, and leave other traps alone. No fireworks are to be fired from the dock.
- If a point of confusion arises regarding the interpretation of association rules, a majority vote by the Board of Directors shall prevail in the resolution of the point in question.
- Garbage and trash must always be placed in the dumpster. The dumpster is only for household garbage. Throwing other items in the dumpster may cause the trash not to be emptied by the garbage haulers.
- No signs, posters, etc. shall be displayed in windows.
- Pool Rules:
- The pool opens at 6:00 AM and remains open until 10:00 PM as long as proper conduct permits.
- Residents swim at his or her own risk, Sandcastle does not employ a lifeguard.
- When yard workers are in the pool area, please leave the pool area until work is done.
- No diving into the pool.
- Please shower before entering the pool.
- No eating in the pool area.
- No glass containers in pool area.
- No alcoholic beverages in the pool area.
- When exiting pool area for the day, remove any floats, toys, and towels, etc., that have been brought to the pool.
- No excessively loud noises or music in the pool area.
- An on-site adult (over 18 years of age) must supervise children under 12. An adult will be allowed to supervise no more that three children.
- Proper swim attire should be worn in the pool.
- Smokers are asked to use the ash containers in the pool area.
- The pool is restricted to residents and their guests. Guests are responsibility of their units’ owners.
- Pets are prohibited from the pool area by county and state health laws.
- Persons will be asked to leave if they cannot conform to the rules of the pool.
- In consideration of others, anyone who uses the end of the pier should not leave any garbage or trash that must be picked up by someone else.
- The Florida Homeowners Association Act allows for the use of fines as an enforcement tool. The Association may levy reasonable fines against an owner for failure of the owner or its occupant, leaseholder, or its guest to comply with any provisions of the declaration, bylaws, or reasonable rules of the association.
- THE RULES SHALL BE POSTED OR MADE AVAILABLE TO ALL OWNERS, TENANTS, AND GUESTS.
